She has had her hips and elbows examined by veterinarians and there are
no problems, and she has been through the BVA hip screening program and
scored a 9, which is a respectable score. Although Milly is quite content to sit quietly, all day at your feet,
she enjoys to play with other dogs, that's when she shows her fun side! At the Inaugural SABT appraisal in the UK 2003, at the age of sixteen
months Milly was appraised, she was re-appraised at a more mature age
of 2 years 7 months, where she scored 84.5% see below

female.
Milly
has a superb temperament. She is an extremely affectionate, and well behaved,
obedient dog, although at times the affectionate part of her nature can
be a bit overpowering! (She'll lick you to death & cuddle you all
day!)
On that note, she also has a michevious sense of humor, that she gets
from her grandmother and
will push people in the bottom with her nose, to shock them :-)
She does have a serious side as well, and this is apparent if there are
any strangers about. Milly is a very good protector, so much so that in
2003 she was intent on keeping two long haired collies out of our garden,
she chased them at full throttle and leapt of a six foot bank! unfortunately
she landed awkwardly and damaged her hind leg, once she had been diagnosed
with a torn ligament, she had an operation in Holland to replace the damaged
one, and we're happy to say she's back to her old self again.
